November 2011 Birchbox

I got my November Birchbox on the 10th which is about the day I get mine in the mail. I'm in the east coast, and most people in this area/mid-atlantic get them fairly early. I know there are some that get theirs towards the end of the month; I'm not sure I could wait that long!

The theme for this month is "Getting Gifty" and at first glance, I really enjoy all of the products in it. I haven't tried any of them yet, but I predict I will be trying the Zoya nail polish first. I think Birchbox and Zoya have a special relationship because this is the third one I've gotten so far. Not at all complaining, they're my faves!

Before I say too much more, here are the products in my November 2011 Birchbox:

As always, the products are packaged in bright pink tissue paper...super girly.

Oscar Blandi - Proteine di Jasmine Protein Mist for Restyling Hair. The full size bottle (8.5oz) is available at Birchbox.com of course as all these products are, and also at Sephora for $18.

This is in some ways like a dry shampoo, except in a different form. It claims to give you a blank canvas on your 2nd-day hair, letting you do what you want with it just like you washed it.

LaROCCA - Champagne and Shimmer Acai Body Polish. The full size product (6.76oz) is available for sale at Birchbox.com for $35, which is slightly cheaper than at laroccaskincare.com for $37.50.

I've been looking for a body scrub lately, and this sounds super luxurious with its "24-carat colloidal gold" as well as a bunch of natural ingredients like champagne grapes, raw sugar, and shea butter. I wish they would make up a different name, colloidal sounds kind of gross, but it claims to stimulate cell turnover

Klorane - Soothing Eye Make-up Remover with Cornflower Water. This is available at a lot of places online like drugstore.com for $16 (6.76oz).

Some of the reviews I've read on drugstore.com state that this product is great for very sensitive skin, which is a plus when it comes to eye make-up remover since it's coming so close to your eyeballs that are sensitive regardless if the rest of your face is. Excited to try this as soon as my Clinique Take the Day Off is all gone...which is soon!

Zoya - Noel Nail Lacquer from their Gems and Jewels Holiday Collection that came out earlier this fall. Full size product is available at zoya.com and probably ulta as well for $8.

I will be using this nail polish sometime in the next couple of days, so I think I'll post pics of it on here as well. It claims to be a denim-blue color, but I see lots of nice sparkle, so I'm excited to try it.

Treat: Chuao Chocolatier - Choco Pod Firecacker. Different assorted chocolates are available at nexternal.com at varied prices.

This is made with dark chocolate, chipotle, salt, and popping candy. Sounds kinda crazy, but I'm excited to try it! The makers of this chocolate, Chuaochocolatier.com, seem like very creative, innovative people. They have all kinds of spicy, salty, and whatever other adjective you would NOT use to describe chocolate. I bet it's good though! (secretly scared to try...not going to lie)

That's it for the November box. I'll definitely try to use these up soon, hopefully before the Dec. box and post reviews on here and/or youtube. Either way, I would love to hear reviews or comments from anyone who has used any of these.

Thanks for stopping by! (And sorry for the different fonts, tried to fix it..couldn't.. oh well!)
